For want of a better name, I am just calling this the Charlotte Coalition until someone else can come up with another name.

I have sent Madpaintballers, from Gastonia, a pm concerning the coalition. They need to get out of the box they are in and play some other fields and this may help. They have 30 + members and some are really good. The name of their field is Behind Enemy Lines. Would like to see them hook up with Epic Unit , Team Boxer, and Recon-1 for some combined action at Boss or other fields. What do you think?

Epic had mentioned at the resturant, you usually practice on Sundays and have the field all to yourselves. You had also mentioned you would not mind practicing with some other teams. With that thought in mind, I have contacted Rogue Cell for a future combined pratice with some Recon-1 members and Epic Unit. They are talking of doing this with you on a Sunday in Jan coming up and maybe Feb, too. They are very excited about this!! Would like to have this done cheaply with no field fees, maybe teams could get there early and do some field work for a while before the actual practice.

We would like to practice specific actions such as:

1. Fighting a Delaying Action against a numerically superior force
2. Assualting a prepared postiion such as a base- cold smoke would be used here
3. Defense in depth
4. Squad formations
5. Sweeping large areas
6. Hasty attacks or counterattacks
7. Combined arms - fighting with armor (if Team Boxer can bring their tank)
8. Use of AT weapons against bunkers and armor (Rogue Cell has a very nice launcher)
9. Various other points. - radio comm. field resupply, working with neighboring units, snipers co-operating with command and units, etc.

This would be a time to pactice and evaluate your squads and unit. This would not be a time to grandstand or give some team bragging rights. This would be some serious work. We would have specific goals in mind with specific objectives for each segment. No refs will be needed. After each segment, each team will meet to evaluate thier actions and find where they may need work. If need be, the same team can have the same segment rerun for another try. We could not cover everything in one session but decide the priority segments. Let me know and we will co-ordinate with Teams Boxer and Rogue Cell.

I am looking forward to getting this up and going, and am looking forward to formalizing an alliance with teams like Recon-1 and Boxer.

The practice ideas sound really interesting, can't wait.

Hun, sounds good to me. I'll try and get Werewolf on here so we can do some coordinating that route. And you don't have to worry about bragging rights or any of that crap, we know we're that good already tongue.gif. But on a serious note, this would be good for these teams, we'll be able to start working together so when we go to bigger events, we'll be all the more deadly.

If we coordinate these right, we can possibly get Clyde to get us some of his practice paint (its around $35-40 a case) so people can save some money while doing all this.

We could call ourselves the "Charlotte Brigade" "CB's" LOL
this way we wouldn't be confused with the North Carolina Coalition.
We could even consider a Brigade Patch to be worn.
